Angendari house is one of DDAP’s residential projects. Located in Sanur Bali, the architect creates the stacking gables to provide privacy from outside but open from inside the house. The house stands in 300 square metres with only 220 square metres floor area and consists of three bedrooms, living, dining, kitchen and home office.
The main approach is to make good composition from heavy building mass on top and light ambient hall. It is achieved by inserting a double height ceiling and open hall at the kitchen and living dining area. The material chosen using local elements such as natural stone and wood. This material not only reduces the cost of the project but also reflects a generic match between architecture and environment.
